Beside the River
I am always seeking inspiration in a body of water. These acrylic paintings are inspired by hikes along the Catawba River Falls in North Carolina and the waterfalls cascading off the North Shore of Minnesota. The panels are recycled from old furniture being discarded. With delicate observation and preparation I laid down acrylic and ink to build a rich surface of color, depth, and reflection.
